I agree 100%. I was disappointed with Holding all the Roses. That album was a huge step back IMO. This new one is the sh!t... Every song on this one is a 10.

Seen these guys a few times and really enjoyed The Whipoorwill album. Will definitely check out the new one.

Made a few albums with Jeff Tomei out at Jesse Dupree's (Jackyl) and got to know these guys pretty well. Great guys, incredible musicians, glad to see they are still at it!

I really like Blackberry Smoke but I was disappointed with "Like an Arrow." I thought it was a huge let down and really kind of mellow compared to the last three albums. I consider Blackberry Smoke the torchbearers of modern Southern Rock, but this album seems borderline "bro-country" to me.

I just can't get into these guys. I've listened to them, but all I hear is a manufactured, robotic musical vibe. Something just doesn't seem genuine and real about them and I'm a huge Warren Haynes fan so it's tough. I just don't hear any soul with these guys. I don't feel anything when I listen to them. Dunno, maybe it's just me, but that's my honest opinion.
