How was the show in NO last night? Anyone else that has seen them on this tour run please post your experience.

I saw them for only the second time here in Denver and I really enjoyed hearing the highlights of Cobra Juicy live for the most part. The songs that really stuck with me were Psychic Love Damage, Smile Heavy, Hairspray Heart, Dark Bubbles, Melt Me, Sun Lips and closer Forever Heavy. Seven Fields of Aphelion gets freaky on that synth.

One of the few issues I had was that I couldn't hear the synthesizer all that well because the drums were so loud. It worked for a lot of their newer songs, but when they would play some of the older ones it just didn't sound as good. I was right up front against the stage so maybe that had something to do with it.

They are a good band. I like how the lead singer isn't your average skinny hipster frick. He's jacked up.

They were pretty damn good last night. I really liked how the guitar player used a slide. Obviously the synth was great too.

Glad to hear that seven fields wasn't in the shadows of the ninja drummer.

I don't have any idea what BMSR stands for.

Sometimes the abbreviations on this board are ridiculous. Can't spell out a band name for us?

Sorry for the abbreviation. If you're listening to them for the first time be sure to check out their early album Dandelion Gum.

That'll be the first one I listen to then.

Thanks.
