Bayou Country Superfest - Recommendations

Flying down tonight for a night in NOLA then over for the Saturday/Sunday. First time visiting NOLA and Baton Rouge! Any and all recommendations of bars, restaurants, and tips/advice for Superfest are welcome! let's here what you got....

bogies is in BR

a few places around LSU campus to walk and to eat and drink are Walkons, Chimes, Pluckers, Mellow Mushroom

Bars you got bogies, freds, JLs, Reggies, Varsity

Walk-On's is a must before and after the concerts! You can walk right there after the show is over. Where are you staying?

Foodwise is limitless. Just depends on what you feel like spending and eating.

Its going to be a hellva time.

I've heard walk-ons is awesome! Staying with some girls I know down there, apparently they live close to everything. I'm pumped, drinking will start as soon as I get to the airport this afternoon! Haha

Walk Ons is OK food wise.

A place like Chimes would offer much better meals. Now, in New Orleans, there's an insane amount of places to check out.


For Baton Rouge, go downtown. Stay away from tiger land, unless you are young.
