I really like these guys. I just bought everything all the time on vinyl, their debut album from 2006. I wiki'd the album and read that after the release of the album the drummer, bassist and rhythm guitarist quit the band. Ben Bridwell, the lead singer and lead guitarist found others to fill the spots and they continue to rock.
Does anyone know the story behind this? Seems strange to me fir 75% of the band to quit after having a solid debut album. TIA

Just started listening to them. Like their sound as well. Haven't delved enough to know whether I'm hearing the new or old members, but I'll say this for band breakups... it's either egos, drugs, girls, money or all of the above.

Either way, I'll prolly look more into them, I like the sound.

First 1-3 albums were great. Then shite went downhill. I hope they return to form, as albums 1 and 2 were both HUGE in my life.

Cease to Begin is one of my favorite albums of the 2000's.
