I listened to relationship on command by at the drive in for the the first time the other day and was blown away. Learned half of them became The Mars Volta, checked out their first and was equally impressed. Anyone else listen to em? And if so, favorite album?

Big fan of theirs. Standout albums: Deloused in the Comatorium; The Bedlam in Goliath; Frances the Mute.

Can't go wrong with any on those.

I'm pissed I missed out on this band. Really good sound.

Their first album is incredible. Lyrics are a lot of gibberish, but musically it's awesome. Things just got progressively weirder after that.

The two MV albums I would suggest are: 1a) Bedlam in Goliath and 1b) Deloused.

First two albums were really good. As said before though they get pretty weird after that.

FTM and Deloused blew my mind. Deloused is on the eve of being ten years old!! Man.

At the Drive In is equally enjoyed to me.

De Loused is my fave.

It blows that MV just broke up just as I was just getting into them. I checked out their newest album last night, not as good as Deloused but I enjoyed it.

tigermeat hit it on the head with these. There's something to be appreciated about all of their stuff, but these three are the best albums.
