Not old enough but damn I wish. One of my biggest accomplishments in high school was sneaking into an ABB show as a 16/17 year old. I thought I liked them before but rah night changed my life. I might get a lot of opposition from the "jam" scene but that night along with seeing Gregg solo a few times is why I personally feel ABB > Grateful Dead. I'm not arguing which is better I'm just saying that's what my stero would be more apt to go to. Because of this and similarity in playing styles I will also say that panic > phish. While subject to years of debate I'm just saying, it led to my decesion that id rather follow panic than phish.
Also, recent saw Gregg and Govt Mule do two separate sets at Wanee. Why there wasn't a sit in together I have no idea but anything those guys combined is at least better than or equal to a fare thee well. Just me personally, but if we can pick and pull living originals I would much rather see a mash of the betts/d. Allman era and truck/Haynes than a fare thee well tour.

I was there, wasn't Dicky Betts sick that night and they ended early or something, those days are lost in the fog now.

Something to that effect as best as I can remember too

I was at the 75 Superdome show. The ABB were royalty at that time. Gregg was living with Cher. Pretty sure that was the first ever music show at the dome. ABB was kind of off that night. Lots of long retuning between songs. Definitely not a well run production. I think they had just gotten back together again. Typical NO concert crowd. Loads of tore up people. Long line just to get in...everything brand new...and this much older couple in line starts a scene where the guy starts vomiting everywhere and then falls down in it. Then, his old lady is trying to help him and she falls in it! They're both so wasted that neither one could get back on their feet. You can't make this stuff up. I was there.
