What's with people like you constantly linking to samples with just AUDIO? Where are the home videos of you playing your songs? This is important because I want to see the person interested as a loving person, not as just a musician.
Lol wtf. OP sucks

I enjoyed your Adam Lambert piano cover.

And? What's the point of sharing that? Are you interested? Because if you are, then you need to introduce yourself so I can see if you possess some of the personality traits, and music traits I'm looking for in this guy.
Everybody keeps approaching completely anonymously, and feels the need to play jokes on me, instead of being serious.

Also I'm sorry to say, but the places that KingBob recommended, those are places that the audience I'm trying to reach aren't going to be frequenting either. My audience isn't going to be the type to go to open mics run by a business.
They might play at a talent show or open mic hosted by their college though.
Also have you ever thought about the guys who might be shy, and might not be ready to perform in front of others, but would be OK with playing in front of a friend? Or what about those who are JUST starting out?

Why don't you just start an open mic of whatever it is you want to do and post flyers / ask people online to come play or start up a weekly or every other week type thing in line with what you have been talking about.
Clearly the 12 people that post on this board aren't going to be able to provide what you are looking for (although this all feels like some misguided attempt at a joke).

Because first of all, I can't even put together one. I don't have any business credentials. Second, I don't have a place where I can host it.
Then there's the problem of WHERE to advertise. I want to leave Craigslist behind, since it's nothing but crap.

Anyway, I'm done trying to search for open mics. I'm tired of every music meetup place having to cost a fee to pay to play some music, or to meet musicians. That should be something that shouldn't cost anything.

I wouldn't mind joining something that would be analogous to a music club at BRCC. A non-profit music community for young adult guys ONLY, in order to find the musicians I'm looking for.

That sounds like a solid plan, put up some flyers around the music buildings on campus or other music clubs for LSU and i'm sure there are some community colleges around. Finding a place to host it probably isn't that hard if you try. Maybe search online communities associated with BR / LSU / other universities for potential members or a place to post a flyer.

SHUT UP! I am NOT forming this open mic because I CAN'T. Someone else would have to.
Don't you get it!

ok. Why are you so aggressive to people trying to give you suggestions?
I don't know why you "can't" make posts, search online for a place which would allow such a group to meet or call such a venue to see if such a meeting is possible. Those are fairly simple tasks which can be accomplished from your home.
You mentioned BRCC, why not try and see if they or some local community music programs may be able to host an event if you could find members? Then once you find a location you could go about actually trying to find members for such a group.
Just coming here and demanding that some specific event / group be magically generated is foolish and essentially all your responses seem to indicate that his is some weird joke thread.

Nobody would be strangers here if this site was designed to be a place where people make close friends who they can eventually hang out together with.
