Any of yall going/been to Steamboat?

I wanted to go this year, but slacked off on buying tickets. Evidently I'm on the waiting list, but I have no idea how that's gonna turn out
I've never been skiing, but I am good at getting drunk and listening to good country music. I figure that's good enough for something.
Any chance I get to go, or does everyone hold onto their reservations?

I was up there for the last night of music fest in 07 (just after bcs game) unrelated to the fest and the very little bit of experience was awesome. I Want to go back so bad but now with a 2 year old my wife said no go for 5 nights away. I was suprised at how reasonable accommodations are. Steamboat is a very expensive city.

I know when we went we paid almost 400 a night for a 2 br 2 bath condo and lift tickets are well over 100 dollars so that 6-700 is pretty Damn good. How far down the list are you?
