I was aware of Pumped Up Kicks but was not really a fan, but I recently listened to the rest of Torches and Supermodel and I'm hooked. Saw that have new one coming out this year. I've been kind of into this genre with groups like MGMT, but nothing ever stuck.

Favorites so far:

-Helena Beat
-Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)
-Houdini
-Are You What You Want to Be?
-Best Friend

Pay no mind to that.

I like the band. Coming of Age is also a pretty good song.

Thought about them the other day. Pumped up kicks is a classic, surprised they never had another hit on the radio. But i guess it's hard for any semi-rock band to make it on the airwaves.

Until I read the lyrics to pumped up kicks I had no idea how dark that song was. I guess I just thought it sounded more happy than that.

Very 80's sounding to me, but that's not a bad thing.

They're great live. Saw them at Jazz Fest in 2014 and Hangout Fest in 2015.
