In my opinion, this would be classified in the 'hippy music' category, but for 5 years now I've been nothing but impressed by this woman. Really catchy beats, funky synthesizer melodies, subtle but sweet vocals.
Little Dragon - Sunshine
SBTRKT - Wildfire [ft. Little Dragon]
This second video is the one I recommend to any new listeners.

(1st post on td)
I like em lots. Tho I wouldn't describe them, or anyone with funky synthesizer melodies for that matter, as hippie music. They are part of the new era of indie dance groups that have much in common with synthpop artists like Depeche Mode. Also a big fan of Cut Copy, Phantogram, Grimes, and Holy Ghost. You would probably like all of them as well if you like LD. cheers!

My first time hearing of Little Dragon and Phantogram is on Big Boi's Viscious Lies and Dangerous Rumors and I must say I like them.

Really like the LD track on Gorillaz - Plastic Beach. Haven't heard much else though.

yea, most of their collaborations have been on point. their own music is pretty hit or miss, but when it hits, it is great. it helps if you are a fan of 80s new wave weirdness, or chill out music.
this is more along the lines of what they sound like, and you would probably like them. try "constant surprises", or "ritual union" for a taste.
and i swoon for Phantogram!

Yes, been a fan of LD for a spell now. She also did vocals on a track on DJ Shadow's latest album.
Her voice is divine.
