Jeff Tweedy

I have been re-listening to a lot of Wilco this year, and if the original question was "Your favorite living songwriter is...", I would probably say Jeff Tweedy.

I feel truly happy when baggadix tries to diss me.

If he were giving me instead, I would strongly consider off'ing myself.

I wasn't trying to come off like I was taking up for you and dissing him, because he's right, you suck

Outside the normal candidates:

Amy Mann
The guy from the Dawes
Frank Turner is pretty damn good - hooks out the wazoo
Will Hoge is a good country writer
Jason Isbell should be mentioned

You either haven't listened to much Tom Waits or do not understand his music.

I have gone through their discography a couple of times, yes. I liked their stuff, and I like Son Volt a lot.

Wilco is still more my shite though, I think just because of all the ground they cover. I like that their songs can get a bit chaotic and noisy at times.
