When I hear Angel Olsen's new song on the radio, it sounds like she's saying "shut up this little retard." Can't get it out of my head.

I'd strongly recommended any AC fans check out Deakin's solo album from this year. Deakin always seemed to have the reputation of AC's Ringo, but that seems to be unwarranted because he released a stunningly beautiful album. Anyone that loves chill Animal Collective should be a fan. The closer, Good House, is my SOTY.

Thanks for the rec, I've been somewhat out of touch with new albums in the second of half of this year. Sounds like something that I'd enjoy.

I've enjoyed Deakin's solo album so far. It's a little slow paced and kind of bare sometimes, but there are some really great moments. The album as a whole is solid and any AC fan would probably like it.

Does Deakin do lead vocals on any AC stuff? His voice sounds too familiar, but I can't find antyhing on it.

Wide Eyed from Centipede Hz is the only song he does lead vocals on I believe.
