Really "meh" - now, after St. Anger, the sound of cats fricking would have been an improvement. So, maybe that's coloring a lot of that.

I can't claim fanhood back to Ride the Lightning and the L.A. era. I remember MoP, but didn't appreciate it until the ...And Justice for All era. I liked the black album AND the Loads better that a lot of butthurt, Metallica fanboy purists, but I can't describe anything after the black album as "great."

Not a studio album and hard to classify, but fair enough - I stand corrected.
