It was honestly better than most stuff Bob Dylan has put out. I always just assumed he had family in the record business to become so popular. I was never that impressed.

Obviously, you are young, because you will never understand and realize how important Boy Dylan was in music culture since the 1960's and how many gazillion artists used his songs. To compare him to Alanis Morissette is laughable especially since much of her success was due to her producer/co-writer, Glen Ballard.
