2011 was the only year I went. My Morning Jacket, Motorhead, and especially Ween were all great. Paul Simon was fun, and WSP was awful.

2011 was hangout GOAT. I know WSP gets shite on a lot here but that really was a bad set by them.

Tom Petty is better than everyone mentioned thus far in the thread and he rocked it out.

I definitely should have given him an honorable mention. Thanks for the reminder.

Honestly if that's your Top 10, you need to be sedated.

. Foo Fighters - 2011 - Actually came out earlier in the day and played a few covers when Cee Lo Green was late. They continued their greatness with a really fun set as the headliner that night.

I was there when that happened, everyone started booing Cee-Lo when he actually arrived and then cheered him off the stage when the singing was done. I mean he still performed and all but made a lot of us late to other shows and some left because they wanted to go to the other stages as well.

Ween was an excellent performance as well as Primus that year. Gogol Bordello put on a great show. So pretty much 2011 was THE year hangout put on so many great shows and then dwindled down after 2012. 2011 and 2012 were pretty awesome IMO

I'm sorry man, I'm not trying to be a dick, but that is an extremely shitty list. No Ween 2011? No Cheese 2012? No Paul Simon? No Wilco? What the frick.

I agree with this\

i agree i expected so much out of widespread but they didnt' deliver, ended up leaving early after 2 long arse 20 minute songs about nothing. I actually almost fell asleep during their performance and I wasn't even inebriated at the time. Ween was awesome yelling at the people on the boats!!!! Paul Simon lit up my brain like I was at Woodstock seeing him for the first time ever!!!

I think I just got cancer or AIDS reading that list

Hangout is the chaddiest of all Chadfests. Glad I went to the one at least slightly decent year.

4. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros - 2012

Was there. Completely agree with your thoughts. Alexander climbing on the rails and getting everybody into it was amazing. Became a fan because of that show
