I had never heard of this show until this weekend when I gave it a look on Netflix. 6 or 7 episodes later, I reluctantly turned it off to get back to my life.
I don't know why I'm enjoying it as much as I am. It has plenty of flaws. It's also extremely watchable. I feel like I should hate it or make fun of it, but i'm really enjoying it.
Anyone else watched it?

I tried, but just couldn't get into it. There was some terrible dialogue and the premise is goofy as frick.

Bought the book at the airport and read it. I was excited to find out that the series had started a few weeks before I bought the book. Bought some episodes on Amazon, but lost interest quickly. Didn't like the casting and it deviated too much from the book. The book was okay, but would have been exponentially better had Crichton written it.

1st episode was kind of meh. I was barely paying attention while my wife was watching, but as the episodes kept playing I realized I was completely engrossed.

Absolutely terrible show. It's stupid, the acting is pretty meh, and it's stupid. Did I mention it's stupid?
But I didn't hate it. It's the broadcast equivalent to a summer blockbuster, which makes sense given when it was released. Popcorn TV show. There's a place for that.
