Watched this show on Adult Swim when I was younger and remembered it being awesome.

I picked up the first two season on blu-ray last week and just finished them, they go up to the conclusion of the dark tournament and man I forgot how awesome this show this!

has anyone else watched, and/or appreciate this show? I've never seen past the dark tournament and just went and picked up season 3-4. Does it kind of drop off, or what's up with the next two seasons?

It kinda drops off after season 2. Season 2 was the best.

I re-watch the dark tournament probably once a year. show really is phenomenal.

I just started watching Rouroni Kenshin again. Show is just as good as I remember (though no Samurai X).

That's kind of a let down.

The Dark Tournament is awesome.

I have a hard time with Animes from that period and older, cant seem to get past their artwork.

Then again, outside of DBZ, I didn't really start watching anime until just over a yr ago. I'd watched a few, but wasn't a full blown fan.

Wait, except for Pokémon when I was 10/11. That was the shite.

Just started watching Cowboy Bebop

Not a huge anime fan though. Skipped Yu Yu Hakusho and just watched Gundham Wing and DBZ on Toonami

Love Gundam Wing.

I'd recommend watching Yu Yu Hakusho. It's a great one, reminds me a lot of DBZ in many ways.

The only thing that kind of pisses me off is that two of the main characters are supposed to be in middle school

We had cats named Hiei and Yukina for a while.

That show was awesome. A good memory.

May have to give it a rewatch one of these days

Toguro (?) was a complex villain that added a touch to the dark tournament saga that was missing from the later seasons.

It's undeniably great and possibly the best dub of any anime ever... If you like YYH you will will also enjoy Hunter X Hunter...the creator of YYH also created HxH

I'll have to check it out. Is it on Netflix by chance?

The only beef I had was Toguro is how dumb his character looked. Just ridiculously huge.

The show to me has a perfect amount of humor with Yuske and Kuabarra.

I also don't think there's a better coming to power moment than when Yuske takes Gen-kei's orb. Man, that was rough to watch, but it ended great.

Yep... not 100% of the series but like 80% of it is... there are a bunch of episodes though

DBZ, Tenchi Muyo and Yu Yu Hakusho were the 3 shows that got me into anime.

ETA: My God this gif could be used for so many different things over on the rant. Great farking material

Closer to 64.7%, if my late night mind math is correct. HxH had 148 episodes, 100 are in Netflix.

Good news. The last 47 are available for free, with ads, on Crunchyroll. He could do the 7 day free trial, and bust them out over a weekend. Because no ads shortens the run time of that many episodes on Crunchyroll by roughly 4 freaking hours.

He has to finish the last main arc. One of the best arcs in Anime, imo. Even if there is a fair amount of filler.

It's one of my favorites of the time/genre. If you liked up until the dark tournament, you'll at least be OK with th red last 2 seasons. I don't really feel they are that bad, just a little slower maybe.

Use that Website instead of Crunchy Roll no bothersome ads.
Plus you can "borrow the Episodes"
