Barneys first car was the name of that episode. We just watched that Sunday night.
Very hard to pick just a few. I have watched every episode through season 5 at least 75 times.
"The Darlings are Coming" has to be in my top 5 for sure. Some GREAT GREAT music in that one.

Way too many to pick just one. Off the top of my head and because it was on recently, was the one where he was teaching Opie how to woo a girl, then got upset because Opie's wooing was Helen.
I saw an interview once, with Andy Griffith, where he attributed much of the show's success to Don Knotts, said he was the funniest writer he had ever worked with.

The first Malcolm Merriweather (who is still alive BTW) episode. The back and forth dialogue between he and Andy is great. And the scene where Barney meets Malcolm is classic.
