Okay, now I know you're just trolling.

Gilligan's Island was actually Hell and Gilligan was the Devil.

Batman actually died from the fall at the end of TDK.

TDKR is actually pergatory. Sacrificing himself to save everyone brought him to heaven where the movie ends.

Think about it .at the end of TDK he runs toward a light at the end of a tunnel. He's dead.

Will this makes the terrible fight in the streets more believable. Since they re figaments of Batman's dying mind, they clearly aren't solid entities that can actually exchange blows. Just whiff after whiff after whiff. Makes sense.

Why do you think this? I've only seen the movie once, but I always felt it was intentionally ambiguous. But if I had a gun to my head, I'd have to believe that it would stop spinning. The movie seems to be in the "real" world at that point, so why would I think otherwise?

I agree. Because most people would all of the sudden sabotage every thing after going through so much to achieve victory.

Well that's what I think in terms of the top. In terms of the movie, the whole point is that it DOESN'T matter whether or not the top stops. That's the point. He's accepting his reality, no matter the consequences. The top doesn't matter.

Dottie wasn't sabotaging anything. She was focused on the family, including her sister. Baseball was insignificant at that point.

That's true.

I don't think you could definitively argue one over the other.

That must be why she told the pitcher how to strike her out

Like we've always said, Dottie realized these things on that last play, Kit's look, the determination, the hit, It was more important. It was time to let go. Literally and figuratively. She knew Kit would get more out of the win than she would. She could sacrifice. This is Dottie's journey, not Kit's.

Here. We. Go.
