The next adventure in the Anthology series of Star Wars films will be directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, whose credits include the critically acclaimed The LEGO Movie and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, as well as 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. Among the most sought-after filmmakers working today, the two have proven a formidable duo on the multiple films they’ve collaborated on and are looking forward to applying their unique creative chemistry to the Star Wars universe.

The screenplay is written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. The story focuses on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.

So they'll get Chris Pratt or Channing Tatum to play Han Solo and make a bunch of overt tongue-in-cheek jokes about how he's too old to be playing a young Han Solo.
Interesting damn choice for sure. These guys are comedy all the way.

Well you're not going to go super serious with Solo.

Obviously, but you won't be slapsticky either.
Harrison Ford was 35 when he played Solo and he looked it. Maybe even younger than that. Pratt is 36 and Tatum is 35. I'm guessing they're going with a younger guy than in his 30s. Miles Teller? Aaron Taylor-Johnson? frick, Daniel Radcliffe? I have no idea.

Just say Tom Hardy on everything and it will work out.

Dammit, you're not going to use a Supernatural gif while I'm thinking of ways to vilify you!!!

Young Lando should be Donald Glover.
Young Han....I have no idea. You need a guy with a swagger who has a DGAF attitude. Andrew Garfield? I once suggested Matt Smith and was attacked for the thought.
