I might have watched Tombstone more than any other movie. It is either Tombstone, Shawshank, or Goodfellas.

The OP is one of my favorite movie exchanges ever.

This one is way up there as well:

quote:

Billy Clanton: Is that "Old Dog Trey? Sounds like "Old Dog Trey."
Doc Holliday: Pardon?
Billy Clanton: Stephen Foster. "Oh, Susannah", "Camptown Races". Stephen stinking Foster.
Doc Holliday: Ah, yes. Well, this happens to be a nocturne.
Billy Clanton: A which?
Doc Holliday: You know, Frederic fricking Chopin

One of my favorite threatquotes is from Watchmen.

quote:

None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with all of you. All of you, are locked in here with me.

The best scene in the movie is when Johnny Tyler thinks he's going to get his money and sidearm back from Wyatt after being removed from the Pharoah table.

Doc: "Why Johnny Tyler! Where you going with that shotgun?"
Wyatt: "Well. Well. How the hell are you?"
Doc: "Wyat, I am rolling. Morgan. Virgil"
Virgil: "Hello Doc"
Morgan: Tips his hat, nods at Doc, spits tobacco, glares back at Johnny with the shotgun .
Johnny Tyler: "Wyatt Earp?"
Wyatt: "Drop it. Go on drop it."
Johnny Tyler: Places shotgun on ground holding the double barrel facing his person "Thank you."
Wyatt: "Sheriff Behan, I'd like to introduce a fellow sophisticant to you. This is our friend Doc Holliday."
Doc: Piss on you Wyatt."

Johnny Ringo: My fight's not with you, Holliday.
Doc Holliday: I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. "Play for Blood," remember?
Johnny Ringo: Oh that. I was just foolin' about.
Doc Holliday: I wasn't

I love the end of that exchange:

Doc: Oh, Johnny. I apologize; I forgot that you were there. You may go now.

This is definitely a top5 snub. I'd add Harvey Korman in Blazzing Saddles to the top 5 list too.

Two of my other favorite Doc quotes not mentioned in this thread yet:

quote:

Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Doc, you oughta be in bed, what the hell you doin this for anyway?
Doc Holliday: Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: I don't.

quote:

Doc Holliday: Why Ed does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend... I just don't think I could bear it!

One of my favs:

quote:

Ike Clanton: What is that now? Twelve hands in a row? Holliday, son of a bitch, nobody's that lucky.
Doc Holliday: Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Also

quote:

Doc Holliday: Say when.

And

quote:

Doc Holliday: Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.
