I just started watching the first episode of Voltron. Holy hell.
ETA; I still love Voltron
ETAETA: I was meaning just animated shows that you used to love but now realize how bad it is now either story wise or horrible animation

Are you asking which are animated the worst? Or which "animated series" is the worst?
Actually to me the two inquiries kind of go together. The badly animated stuff just doesn't tend to appeal to me, especially if it seems to be drawn badly or drawn to look ugly on purpose. I'm talking about stuff like The Amazing World of Gumball. And even Ren and Stimpy.
Now, there are some that are not what you would call top flight art that can be good - Beavis & Butthead and Southpark and things like that. But to me a cartoon that is drawn badly or drawn to look ultra ugly has a higher hurdle to climb before I would watch it regularly.

The art style of Ren and Stimpy added to the appeal of the show for me. I'll take the hand drawn look of 60s-80s era cartoons over any modern day clean, computerized look.

Thundercats is fricking abysmal. It is impossible to watch as an adult.

Speed Racer. Any of the Japanese crap. It's a bunch of still images, it seems.

Yeah I didn't really specify that well. The animation is horrible not to mention I totally forgot how bad the villain is in the show. I still got my voltron somewhere. Need to find it.
