Domestically, it is the highest grossing film of the DCEU with a U.S. intake of almost $350 million after a month in release. It has a shot at becoming the highest grossing DCEU film overall when you account for international gross, but I have a feeling that the Justice League movie is going to hit the $1 billion mark.

If it's good, sure. Otherwise it will drop hard just like BvS did.

No, it requires it being good. I don't have any faith in Zack Snyder (nothing personal to him due to his situation). Wonder Woman is proof when it's looking like it make beat BvS at the box office and already has in North America.

Although this film has incredible staying power in the theaters- I don't think it will surpass BvS's 873 million global. I think it ends somewhere between 785 and 800...but you never know. If it has the same kind of second month drops similar to GOTG2, which it is mirroring at the moment- It could go higher.

Just watched it last night. I thought it was good. Not mind blowing. It was a slightly above average super hero movie.

Relative to the quality of the other DCU movies, Wonder Woman is the freaking Godfather

That's only if the movie resembles anything worth a shite like Wonder Woman is and word of mouth doesn't completely destroy it like it did with MoS and BvS.

Zack Snyder still hasn't made a good DCEU movie and the evidence says he never will.

They don't care if... never mind.

But yeah. I do have faith in Geoff Johns, and I know what kind of superhero movie Whedon puts out. Snyder did the major casting, co-plotted, and was a producer on Wonder Woman, and yet Jenkins gave us a great movie. So JL sucking isn't necessarily a fait accompli.

Good. It was a great movie and the third act was well done. Some cliche stuff thrown in, but the characters were all fleshed out enough to make you overlook it.

And Whedon is the guy who shite the bed with Ultron, who is probably Marvel's most terrifying villain.

This. Actually I didn't even think it was slightly above average. Not bad is how I would put it. I guess having nothing but mixed expectations prior to release that anything better than BvS is considered a triumph.

i watched it yesterday as well and found it average. I think the hype for it was that it was a decent movie with a female lead so they wanted to scream, great.

It was more the fact that it was a DC movie with color and a non-brooding main character

I finally saw it this weekend and I really thought it was great. I was expecting something solid but thought the reviews were being inflated because of feminism and DC finally making a decent movie, but it really exceeded my expectations. I think the villain was slightly underdeveloped but in an origin story, I think its ok.

Its fun to troll DC fans on here, but I'm really hoping Wonder Woman is DC finally realizing how to make an enjoyable comic book movie. I'm actually looking forward to Justice League now.

I'll be honest in saying it was an average movie, and I think it probably did exceed D.C. Standards as to why the good reviews. I think the acting was what kept it afloat, esp Pratt, and WW was nice to look at..,

They don't accomplish that with out marvel paving the way. That being said, this was finally a solid DC film
