I just checked out that guys twitter and now I can't stop laughing. That guy appears to be a major SJW that just wants to complain about males.

LINK

Mark Hughes of Forbes has the opening weekend tracking towards $80 Mill, but he's guessing that it will be closer to $100 Mill.

This critic actually said this on his Twitter:

"No longer surprising that DC movie devotees are frequently Holocaust fans tweeting Ariana Grande nudes with Manchester hashtags."

I'm assuming it's bad...but I'm with you, some context would be nice.

I'm not sure what he is getting at, but I agree it doesn't sound good. I cant get the entire string of postings, but here are the only other two in the conversation.

I get that it's gonna get negative reviews. I honestly am hoping it's just better than Man of Steel, batman vs superman and suicide squad. I want to see them move in the right direction. What worries me more than anything is people loving it only because of the strong woman element and not it being a good movie.

That's a fair point. Ghostbusters has a good RT score and that movie was horrible.

I agree. Which is for I'll scan what the critics say about other movies. Or what they say in general. Such as Mr. Goldman insinuating DC fans are also Holocaust fans. Because of tweets like this, I can't, nor should others, take his reviews seriously.

I'll agree that some hardcore DCEU fans are really annoying, but to compare them to people that are ok with the Holocaust is WAY over the line.

I want to see the reviews from men that are non comic book fans. They should have a good grip on if this movie is good or not. Hardcore DCEU fans will love it, hardcore Marvel fans will hate it, and women will be feel empowered by it. So I'm looking to weed those out.

However I take the "critics" reviews with a grain of salt at this point because they are all onboard the SJW agenda.

Just wait for comicbookgirl19 to review it. She is liberal and a chick and she had no problem ripping on Ghostbusters. I would trust her review more than most critics. Not that I agree with her all the time but she doesn't push some agenda.

I mentioned this earlier, another site that I'm on has posters that have seen this movie. They're not comic book fans and they're always very neutral when judging this genre. They've said this movie is not very good, that it has some serious issues that are being overlooked by all these tweets going out.

Yeah, after Ghostbusters and the fact that this movie's only requirement is that the director has to be female, I'm not going to blindly trust it.

Mendelson has been no fan of the DCEU films. He hasn't given a fresh rating to any of them.

He went on to say that WW is mostly enjoyable and that he wouldn't give a rotten rating to this one.

He also said that his kid enjoyed the movie.

Ok, in BvS, she does say that she'd written the "world of Men" off, so there has to be a twist at the end that disillusions her. That would explain her abstention from WW2, but honestly, I DON'T like this angle.

I DO like the clear-cut good vs evil angle of Capt America, and most of the WW2 movies, and I grew up comfortable with the knowledge (call it propaganda if you want, I don't care) that the Nazis were evil, and we fought against them for the good of all mankind. That the world is a much better place than it would be, had the Nazis prevailed.

For DC to take an iconic superhero(ine), and have her sit out the battle against the Nazis, presumably because there was no clear and pressing reason to fight FOR or AGAINST a side, there's a lot of potential problems there. I don't want my heroes telling us we're no better than the SS and Gestapo.

More screenings over the weekend at military bases. Sneak previews for the Memorial Day weekend. Some friends of mine saw it, loved it. He's an alpha, Lynyrd Synyrd loving, Rebel Flag waving Marvel fan. She's a take-no-shite country mom. Both of them loved it.
