Ibleedblackandgold will be here shortly to complain about the movie again, can't let good news come out in this thread without his disapproval
Wrong again. I'm hoping it's good. I want it to be good. All I'm saying is her acting is pretty bad and I hope it doesn't take me out of the story. I walked in 3 DCEU movies with high expectations and walked out severely disappointed. Maybe this time I'll walk in with very low expectations and be pleasantly surprised, because I will be there for the first showing.

Gal Gadot makes me happy in my pants! I really think WW will be a good movie, but it is correct that it will be judges against B vs S, and SS, Not a very high bar.

I mean it should be just against psst DCEU movies, because it needs to be better than those. If it isnt, then we have problems.

My take on the SJW crap is that I really do not care if people like a movie that I enjoy for different or "wrong" reasons.
I can watch Glory or Malcolm X and enjoy them as great films without their worth as social justice touchstones bogging me down.
I judged the female Ghostbusters to be a crappy movie without reveling in the fact that it was touted as a game changer for women in film.
So if people go to see Wonder Woman because empower women, or because inspire little girls, or because scantily clad hot chicks with swords... it's not going to piss me off that the rest of the audience has an agenda.

Agreed.
However I take the "critics" reviews with a grain of salt at this point because they are all onboard the SJW agenda.

They've got crazy arse feminists/SJW's on one side screaming about her shaved armpits and not enough advertising, and on the other side they've got all the broflake conservative justice warriors acting like pussies because a few critics said it's empowering for women. And then there's the Marvel/DCEU fan divide. Whole bunch of butthurt on both sides. Just hoping for a great movie about a great character. I'm out of the back and forth and ready to hopefully enjoy

Yea, so here's a crazy idea. How about everyone wait, see the movie, and base judgement on the merits of what we see. Not decide the success of a movie on what critics or SJW's two sentence reviews. Don't let someone living in Portland or New York or Miami or Toledo dictate how we will view the movie.
But like I said........ crazy idea.

Warner Bros. appears to be very confident in Wonder Woman. They are moving up the review embargo and screenings in some markets. Good news.

They must've given up on trying to hide that it's a complete mess.

You seem to have an unusual level of emotional investment in this movie. You've also posted 10 times on the last 2 pages, some of which were replies to your own posts...
