It could still be an unexpected death, but I would like to see someone die from disease, illness, infection etc. Something that happened a lot in the middle ages and would put a little more realism in the show.

agreed. the fact that people keep being killed by dragons, and magic, and curses really messes with the realism that this show puts so much emphasis on

While we didn't physically see it, Tyrion's mother died in childbirth.

Look, I get that people don't watch the show for realism, it would just be interesting if someone important ubexpectingly died, out of the blue when it seemed like no one was gunning for them and it would put an unexpected twist in the show.

Even money says Walder Frey either goes peacefully in his sleep or while boinking one of his child wives.

Beat me to it. Although he might have died from the grief of having two insufferable daughters and a weak, girly son.

Didn't a shite ton of people die of "the bloody flux" in Meereen?

You can't get much more Oregon Trail than that.

If Theon didn't die of infection then no one will, ever.

The best chance of someone dying from old age is probably the blind maester for the Night's Watch. I don't know if he has two seasons left in him.

Eta. Second post says he apparently died. My memory is shite.

Thought the witch poisoned him.

Yes, my memory is shite. I thought I just said that, must have just thought it to myself.

I was just reaffirming. Didn't want you to second guess yourself.
