I've seen it beaten when I was a kids, but I remember it taking many hours of failed play over many days.

There was a kid in my neighborhood that said he did, but I don't buy it.
I actually looked up the end scene on YouTube a few years ago just to get closure.

I never beat it, but a friend of mine who was some kind of video game savant did. I looked up a youtube of the game. Hearing that soundtrack brought me back.
