Will GOT season 8 delay until 2019 to avoid NFL sundays?

The folks at HBO are no dummies. I can't imagine they will want to air their biggest production in history against the NFL.

Does that mean we are looking at a February or March 2019 premiere date at the earliest?

No longer a concern, NFL won't be around next year. GOT comes in 2018!!!

Don't be stupid. The NFL isn't dumb enough to have games airing during the final season of Game of Thrones. They'll just build in 6 extra bye weeks or get rid of the Sunday night game.

Judging by this board, by 2019 the NFL will have changed their team names to reflect the Game of Thrones houses.

The NFL would run 2 MNF games to get out the way of GoT

Yes, this is the conventional wisdom.

Better than the Houston Texans.

Championship games aside, I'd watch GOT over any NFL game.
