Why don't/can't they play the dark knight on tv?

I have seen multiple times where they'll play batman begins then dark knight rises. What's the reason behind their shenanigans?

Don't know what you're talking about I've seen it on plenty of times. TBS/TNT mainly I think

It's usually on TBS/TNT. I've occasionally seen it on the movie channel rotation.

Batman Begins and TDKR probably cost a lot less for stations to air than TDK.

Okay well why is spike currently playing 1&3 but not 2?
They have been doing this for a while now. Is SPIKE not allowed to show it? If so why are they not showing it now/lately?

I don't watch much cable tv. Every so often I'll scan the guide for some stuff to record. The past few weeks I've seen 1&3 so I assumed they wouldn't show 2. Obviously I'm wrong but I'm still curious as to why they'd leave out #2 in a trilogy. Just seems odd.

Yeah it is off and what happens in the dark knight plays heavily in dark knight rises.
