I was checking to see any updates on The Stand movies being made and I stumbled across this.
An R rated double movie of It could be the scariest thing ever put on screen if done correctly. It could also easily be the biggest piece of shite if sloppily made.
Any thoughts? Casting wishes?

What's the update on the stand? I'm about to finish the extended edition of the book. Is the made for TV show any good?

Couldn't find one.

My 2nd favorite book I've ever read.

In my opinion it was god-awful. They folded a few characters into one character a couple times and they edited a bunch and changed some story lines. You should probably watch it just because, but it isn't good.

I tried re-wataching it again a couple of weeks ago and couldn't make it through it, and I love the book.

Brad Dourif or Tom Hiddleston as pennywise.
