Who remembers Rescue 911 with Shatner?

The Unsolved Mysteries thread reminded me of this show. I was sort of surprised when it got canned and never made a comeback. You would think these days people watching other people go through horrible circumstances would typically get moderately decent ratings.

I liked it until the episode with the guy and his two kids who get burned up by an exploding water heater. Shook me up for some reason.

The episode with the kid who got caught in the escalator is the one I'll always remember.
