All three LotR movies are very good or downright great. If you consider the Avengers movies as the "heart" of the MCU and the single-hero movies as supporting that heart, then the MCU pales by comparison. Ultron was a weak core movie for its franchise. LotR didn't have so much as a hiccup.

LotR trilogy is by far better.

I think most people consider Cap 2 and GOTG to be their best films. I'm sure Civil War will easily be a top 3 Marvel film as well.
