It's in the godhead. My ranks are how I felt about hte movie when I viewed them first, not how I feel about them now. They are as follows

1. Matrix
2. Braveheart
3. Big Lebowski

frick you if you don't like it

Opinions are like elbows an assholes. We all have them (I will take the time to have a moment to recognize that not everyone has an elbow and that this sentiment could be offensive), but no one wants to hear that shite.

Not even in my top 1000 movies of all time.

It is not the most overrated movie of all time, but is vastly held in the opinion of many to a standard it did not come close too.

But opinions of movies change with about every 3rd to 4th generation, this movie is one in the future will be looked at as to why was it rated so high.

Fire away, the board shots will as time fall away.

I liked the movie, but to me it is average at best, not a bad movie just a normal 4.0-6.0 on a 10 scale movie.

I've tried watching it a couple times and have never finished - just can't get into it.

It used to be higher for me, when I was younger and thought it was just cool.

Now, it is a bit lower. Top 25 definitely though - one of my higher ranked comedies for sure, like Raising Arizona and The Blue Brothers.

Kinda hard to put it anywhere in my top 10-15 with so many great dramas and action movies out there.

Good topic - great movie. Maybe starting a thread on top five or ten comedies (and why it is to you) of all time would be cool. No one ever puts "Why?" on things. It makes for more interesting conversation. I love Evil Dead 2 as a comedy - because I saw it in its original run and it was the most outrageous movie I'd ever seen and my date thought I was nuts (in a good way) for laughing so hard. That was a great night.
