When does Guardians of the Galaxy get interesting?

I am an hour into Guardians of the Galaxy and bored out of my mind. I don't know who I am supposed to root for. This is just a movie about a thief without any exceptional ability trying to turn a profit. I've enjoyed every Marvel movie to date, but those were all heroes doing heroic things. This is the exact opposite of that. Does it get better soon it should I give up on it?

That's interesting. Maybe stick it out for another two hours. Or maybe turn it off.
Most of the other marvel movies are crap. I had very low expectations for this, which is probably why I liked it. Sounds like you have poor taste in movies.

It might not be your movie. It happens. I loved the film but everyone has different tastes.

I should have trusted my initial reaction when I saw the first trailer. I thought the movie would be nothing I would enjoy. Turns out the trailer was an accurate depiction.

I thought it was a good movie when I saw it at the theater with my family. We all enjoyed it.

I ended up finishing it. I enjoyed the few minutes encompassing the climax of the movie, but little else. I will be skipping the rest of the movies starring these characters.

It's about the search for an Infinity Gem. Unique for a Marvel film, I know.
