HBO now, your fee is paid directly to HBO and it's only available on a few devices at this time.

Go linked to your cable HBO account.

I'm doing the free trial of HBO Now. Seems cool. You don't need a cable subscription for HBO Now.

Can you watch Season 5 of GoT on HBO NOW?

HBO Now is essentially a "Netflix" version of HBO to my understanding. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as HBO Go, just without having to have an HBO cable subscription.

I have a HBO cable subscription and what I'm curious about is if it is cheaper to just cancel my HBO cable and just get HBO Now. I very rarely watch HBO on the actual channels, it's always on HBO Go.

It's priced at $15/month which is the max you'll pay any cable provider. HBO is in no position to undercut their cable partners at this stage of the game.
