My first movie was Jurassic Park. I remember the theater was packed and the movie just seemed to last forever. I had to take a piss but I wanted to wait after the movie finished. But the movie just kept going on and on. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and went to the restroom. When I came back, everybody was filing out of the theaters because the movie had ended. Oh well.

The 1972 release of Treasure Island with Orson Wells.

Back in those days we had no DVDs, VCRs, or cable channels. Movies on TV were rare compared to nowadays. To see a movie was a real treat. Within the first 5 minutes I had fallen in love with movies.

The first one I remember was Pete's Dragon. Went to the Ice Capades later that day.

I vaguely remember seeing the AristoCats in theaters when I was a kid. I figured I was wrong since it came out in 1970, but after some digging a while back I saw that it was re-released in 1987 (I was 4).

Probably not the first, but my 1st grade class took a field trip to see Fern Gully for some reason and I remember that pretty well

My parents went to see Schindler's List. We were too young I guess so we watched TWO movies in a different theater. Lightning Jack and Ace Ventura. That was a great day. For us kids at least.
