No, that song personified that era for sure. Heavy synth, odd vocal ranges and back up singing. I do not hate it.

My two favorites are "Diamonds are Forever" (when the nekkid silhouette removes her hands from her pubical area and there is a diamond where her lady parts should be is one of the greatest moments of my TV watching child hood.
Also, "The World is Not Enough" . First, I think the song by Garbage is probably the most underrated Bond song of them all, and two, nekkid ladies bouncing around all covered in oil--you can't beat that.

didn't wanna start a new thread but this one made me think of something. When I was real little my dad had recorded a bunch of bond movies on VHS. I've never been a bond guy, in fact I don't know if I've ever seen a full movie. But I distinctly remember watching one dad had taped from TV, or one scene rather. It's a chase scene in helicopters. Bond is flying a copter and using all sorts of gadgets and gizmos to dispatch the bad guys chasing him in their copters. Which movie was this?

Love is required whenever he's hired,
It comes just before the kill.
No-one can catch him, no hit man can match him
For his million dollar skill.
One golden shot means another poor victim,
Has come to a glittering end,
For a price, he'll erase anyone
The man with the golden gun.
