Sister is in the process of moving and she is picking an Internet provider. What kind of download speeds does she really need to watch streaming tv. She has a roku and uses Hulu, Hbo to Go,etc.
The Internet company she called, Time Warner, I think, says she needs the most expensive package at $85/month if she's going to stream.
I don't think this is the case as I believe my Cox bill was only $45 a month(I can't remember what package I had
) and I was able to stream, use wifi, just fine. There is no way I was getting super fast downloads from Cox for only $45 a month, so I don't think that's really necessary.
Anyone know what minimum download speeds are needed to watch tv and movies without having it render or pause to catch up every so often?
