One of the GOATs
My personal favorites of his are probably The Mask and The Truman Show:
With an honorable mention to Me, Myself, and Irene:

love all of those and of course his bread and butter is Dumb and Dumber and Irene, but one of his underrated roles IMO is Liar, Liar.

I know I am in the minority, but Cable Guy is the best Jim Carey movie.
And this is his best moment:

While it is not as widely known,
He has many great scenes and puts on an amazing performance in I Love You Phillip Morris.

He did take that Chevy Chase school of physical comedy and build an entire career around it - at an extremely high level. He was able to show some genuine, A-grade acting chops in The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine, which belies his origin as essentially a modern day Three Stooges or Buster Keaton.
I would even place him higher than Chevy and Michael Richards at #1 for "modern" physical comedy and worthy of mention in the same breath as The Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Harpo Marx, Buster Keaton and Jerry Lewis - the highest compliment for someone in that business.

My all time favorite comedic actor. I pretty much wanted to be Jim Carrey when I was a kid. Too hard for me to pick favorite moment. I just remember watching Dumb and Dumber in the theater and being in awe of how incredible it was.

Love him
Dumb and dumber and the Venturas are my favorites. I quote them at least once a day

Fun with Dick and Jane is underrated. It's one of my, "Oh, it's on now? I guess I have to watch" movies.

The rhino scene in Ace Ventura 2 makes me laugh hard every single time I see it.

He's got some really stupid roles but my sides split with laughter when I watch Liar Liar, it is hysterical and sweet at the same time. I also love the Truman Show, it shows his acting range and I really believe he should have been nominated for an award that year.

For some reason, just cracks me up every time.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Truman are fantastic movies. But he'll always be remembered as Lloyd and Ace.
