After much deliberation I have to go with Chuck. I expect the majority of the answers to be Lost.

I actually really like the first season of Lost. Like a lot. It's their best season overall and it's an incredible run of television.....

HOWEVER....

Abrams and Company corrected themselves and made Fringe, which to me, is a pretty significant improvement of the formula.

I'd probably say X-Files. It's so much better than most of television and way more engaging of a mystery than Lost.

Equally as awesome is Probably Twin Peaks.

So make that 4.

Waaaay too hard to choose. There are so many shows that had a great first season and went to shite from there.

First season of The Office was amazing. It was only 6 episodes so I might as well add Season 2 on to that.

First season of Homeland was outstanding, maybe one of the greatest seasons in tv.

Twin Peaks probably easily wins best first season that just fell off a cliff in the second season, imo.

That said, I still haven't been able to actually finish the second season.

I truly believe this is the best first season of all-time. Brilliant. I'm binging it right now. 5 episodes left in this first season. Hopefully going to knock them all out tonight on a Friday. Like a loser. :lolL

Good call on both accounts.

But you can't have two!
