What is the best "Comic Book to Movie" movie?

Sitting here watching "Lucy" for the 1000th time. It's one of my favorite comic book movies, but my vote has to go to the first "Iron Man".
I don't think "Transformers" was originally a comic book. I think it was a toy, then cartoon, then comic.

Lucy was a comic book?
V for Vendetta is probably my overall favorite.

Does Ghost World count?
American Splendor?
What is and isn't a comic book here?
I'd say Watchmen or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

I would say
1. Superman the Movie
2. Spiderman
3. Iron Man
4. 300
5. Sin City
6. Batman Begins
I could rethink it and change my mind though- but that's just off the top.

The movie Wanted is nothing like the comic...

The movie Wanted is as far from the comic book as the movie Braveheart is from Star Wars.

Yes, all mentioned are comic book movies.
I'd put Ghost World at the top as well. While it didn't follow the comic to a T, it caught the feeling of the stories perfectly.

Wow!
I didn't know it was a comic and didn't know anyone liked it that much.
300 is my favorite if you call that a comic movie. Deadpool and Man of Steel I really liked.

The first Iron Man was brilliant. I don't even like comic book movies.

My problem with Iron Man is the final battle. I remember it being laughably bad

I had forgotten about that movie. That probably is my favorite comic book movie.

Depends. Are we talking about how much I enjoyed a movie being based on a comic, or comic that was turned into a movie?
The Dark Knight is a fantastic film, but it certainly is not a perfect parraell for the comics. They changed a number of things to make it into a better movie, which is completely understandable.
The Punisher was not a great movie but it just had such an Ennis feel to it. So many wacky villains and off the wall kills. They changed a lot of the back story, but it did a great job of having similar tones as the actual comics.
All in all, my personal favorite is still League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I have seen it a dozen times and it is great.

I'm thinking movies that capture the spirit of the source material the most:
Superman the Movie
Spider-Man 2
Hellboy: The Golden Army
The Avengers
Sin City

People should do themselves a favor and watch Superman the Movie...It's on Netflix streaming.
Why can't a movie like this exist today?
It's not some weird treatment. It's not dark for darks sake.
I don't get the love for stuff that is contrary to a comic book character.
Character development and plot > Kung Fu movie storylines and paper thin characters.
