Not one that just talks about or shows some drug use like The Godfather or Almost Famous. Ones that are about drugs. Whether it's addicts, dealers cops chasing dealers or anything else where the movie was about some function in the chain of drug use.

Wiki's list of movies that have any drugs in them (I wouldn't count all of these here)

My Top 20

1, Fresh
2. Bird
3. Blow
4. Rush
5. Gia
6. Light Sleeper
7. The French Connection
8. 25th Hour
9. Sid & Nancy
10, Trainspotting
11. Super Fly
12. Who'll Stop the Rain
13. King of New York
14. Drugstore Cowboy
15. Alpha Dog
16. American Gangster
17. Scarface
18. The Basketball Diaries
19. Midnight Express
20. Clockers

Others I really like:

The Wackness
Holy Rollers
Traffic
The Panic In Needle Park
Pineapple Express
Maria Full of Grace
Requiem For a Dream
Half Baked
New Jack City
Narc

Some great movies I'm not sure fit the bill (alphabetical order).

Buffalo Soldiers
The Falcon & the Snowman
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas
Hustle & Flow
Live & Let Die
One False Move
Pulp Fiction
Ray
True Romance
Valley of the Dolls
Where the Buffalo Roam
Winter's Bone

Enjoy your Thanksgiving and the Tryptophan in your turkey!

Add Flight to the kinda list.

American Gangster should be higher on the list. (non pun intended.)

A great Val Kilmer performance.

It basically is telling the Boogie Nights story but less fictional. And Kilmer is playing Jon Holmes.

Wow, with a few exceptions drug movies sure are depressing.

I don't like depressing movies, so my favorites would be:
Half Baked
any Cheech and Chong
...

Not sure if Harold and Kumar counts or Jay and Silent Bobs.

Did see it once. Were they stealing to buy drugs or something? I know the girl was a drug addict and Holmes got them for her and did also them. Were the murders over drugs?

Check out candy with Heath ledger. I think it's from 2006. Pretty dark movie. It's been a while since I've seen it but its a very good drug movie.

I'm guessing Boogie Nights could be thrown into this discussion, although the movie was more about the porn industry than drugs. However the 2 go hand in hand.

First movie I thought of when I saw the thread title

Pulp Fiction

Definitely fits the bill. Good call on Winters Bone as well.

Don't know how they could make that list without City of God. Better than any movie they have listed.
