What are the odds the next pirates of the Caribbean doesn't suck arse

Obviously they're just milking this goose for every last drop and the last one was abysmal, but I noticed that Orlando Bloom along with most of the old pirate crew would be back. Also the bad guy is the guy from no country for old men so he is a great villain. It will probably still be unoriginal and Johnny Depp will just do the same thing he's done for the last 15 years but perhaps it could at least be watchable.

The first Pirates is one of the better movies ever made. The next two are total crap. On Stranger Tides redeemed the franchise a bit but it still wasn't as good as the original.

It will in all likelihood be crap seeing as how the franchise is on fumes and the character Jack Sparrow became a self aware parody.
It also isn't good that Depp now has some domestic abuse allegation that just surfaced.

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley's storylines were a major reason 2 & 3 were weak sauce.
Dumping them for Pirates 4 was a good step forward (though they should have dumped Barbossa as well) and made for a better movie.
Bringing Bloom back is lame and fairly pointless since his story was wrapped up.

the first one was good in that it was a different type of movie with good actors. But watching it a 2nd time it became obvious it was just an average movie.

The last one wasn't bad without Bloom. It wasn't great, but it was entertaining and watchable. I'd say the odds of this one not sucking is pretty decent.

I'm predicting more improbable "Rube Goldberg" style fighting sequences with way too many things going on at the same time. Guys throwing weapons around to each other, guys fighting while balancing on top of things.... So yeah it will probably suck.

People don't like stranger tides which is fine because it wasn't a good movie but it was completely worth it for me because the mermaid was fricking hot.
