Didn't Odin bitch slap Thanos around in Warlock and The Infinite Watch?

Which is why I'm guessing they'll find a way to kill Odin off or something Ragnarok like in the actual myth so they won't have an excuse for The Skyfather to come down and lay some knuckles on The Mad Titan.

Two ways. One, Thanos doesn't usually fight the Avengers, he fights elemental forces of the universe like Galactus or Eternity. Or, like, the physical manifestation of time. And, two, he will always sabotage himself due to his aforementioned subconscious desire to lose.

But really, Adam Warlock is pretty much just as powerful. They come up with ways to always have these types of characters off the board.
