Every single episode, that plotline got more and more implausible.

I thought it was up there as one of the better opening seasons I had ever seen, right up until the final episode. They butchered it so bad that it invalidated a lot of what made the season so great (i.e., Ford)

The production value is great. WW is a very well executed show, it's just not the most compelling story. But we shouldn't penalize it for not being the next GoT.
