When the neighborhood burned down, I think that was originally supposed to be the end of the show. But they kept going to stretch it out and things got stupid. Had they ended the show with the neighborhood burning down it could have been one of those all time great shows that everyone has to watch. But shite just got ridiculous and they started selling weed in sandwiches.

My wife has been rewatching it and every episode is just a face palm after Season 3. Then Harriet the Spy gets involved for some reason and I'm finding it hard to finish the series. For those that have watched the whole thing, is it worth finishing?

Weeds should've ended after Season 3 and Dexter should've ended after Season 4. Californication went on a little too long but can't really figure out when it should've ended.

I can't say that'd I'd encourage anyone one way or the other. I finished the series and thought it was entertaining but I would've been very content had it ended with season 3.

Don't get me wrong, I would do shameful things to her. But the whole turning the bike shop upside down was a little much, and they're in New York which has plenty of business to go around, so the whole "turf" angle doesn't really work because they have millions of customers all around them. Which brings up another plot hole, the Botwins only have one strain which wouldn't get them far anyway with all the options out there. No one would be intimidated by a dealer that only sells one type of weed.

I'm halfway through season 7, can't believe there's a season 8. I'll probably go ahead and finish it just cause. But the real show ended when they stopped using the "Little boxes" theme song.

Did people actually finish that series all the way through? it went to shite immediately after leaving California. I watched the finale just for the frick of it, and wasn't her son line trans or some shite by the end?

I'm not there yet, still powering through season 7. Not sure why I'm doing this to myself.

Yep. Everything she's done that I've seen, is great for a couple seasons. Then it turns to absolute shite

She has to push her liberal crap and a good story gets lost in all of it

I'm pretty liberal, and it's not the ideology that bothers me. She just seems to come up with good ideas. But doesn't know how to see them all the way through.

OITNB this past season really displayed it for me. I'm fairly middle of the road but they had a good story line going on it would get lost in the agenda in some episodes. I agree she doesn't have much follow through either.

Yep, she's only good for about 2 seasons per show.

The past season of OITNB was a chore to get through. I really fricking hate Piper, it sucks that they killed Poussey and the Crazy Eyes character is so over the top.

I enjoyed Weeds through season 6. Season 7 was a huge mistake in my opinion.
