We need Anchorman 3

Anchorman 2 had its place: How Ron Burgundy ruined the news and made it into what it is today. Wasn't as funny as the first, but there was clearly an angle to take it. Ferrell and McKay said they wanted to talk about the news being ruined by people like Ron, and they wouldn't make a third one due to calling out the media on their bullshite for what they've become.
But this election has allowed for another sequel to Anchorman: Ron Burgundy runs for President. Maybe where he takes over the station after a a few years, gets drunk one night with the News Team, and then runs for office as a joke. And then it goes out of control and runs against the single worst candidate in history.
Seriously, has Trump said anything you couldn't picture coming out of Ron Burgundy's mouth? Sorry, but this year pretty much has been "Ron Burgundy runs for President". After the press' dealing with this bullshite and is the primary reason why Trump is the nominee after 3 billion dollars in ads, they need to be called out on their bullshite. This needs to happen and soon.

Maybe 3 could just parody how each station is extremely biased..

I LOVE the original and watch it whenever I randomly come across it. I've never given Anchorman 2 a second look even though I can stream it whenever I want. Are there other funny stories to tell about Network News? I know people that work at CNN, so I can tell you there are. But Ron Burgundy isn't the person to tell those stories because they'd feel pressure to do so many of the same things like the ridiculous fight scene.

it could be epic if they(writers) went all in on mocking the news channels.
