I liked it. Yes I did like the girl that plays Dylan's ex partner. Wish this was on HBO.
I am in on this one for the full season.

Definitely enjoyed it - and liked that they showed how the town was acting.
Guy at the bar radioing that there was a problem, etc.
The "time" aspect is intriguing as well. How could it be 12 years for a partner that's just gone missing?

About to watch. I really enjoyed the books.

Just watched. I'm intrigued but that was the most frustrating hour of TV ever.

IMO, the books went to shite eventually. Too much silly monster crap. I am going to watch the first couple of episodes, though.

The opener was great,
So was Lost's. I lol'd the opening.... But like it.
It's lost meets Twin Peaks. Not the one in Waco.

I finally was able to watch the premiere.
I thought it was good. Definitely agree with the Shutter Island vibe. I tried to describe my initial thoughts to my wife and referenced a bit of Lost, X-Files, Truman Show, Bates Motel, etc - along those lines. Shutter Island is a better analogy at least for the first episode.

A little bit of "The Game" with Michael Douglas also....

I watched the premiere online a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly good. I did some research online on the books this was based on and when I read what I read I had no interest in watching any more episodes.

Second episode tonight.

Yeah I liked the first episode. Will watch again.
I know it's cliche, but my theory is that they are all dead, just due to how differently the three characters saw time (the bartender lady said she'd been there a year, the guy said he saw his partner 5 weeks ago, whereas she said she'd been there 12 years). Because of how the verse says "a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years a day" when discussing eternity.

I guess this will be the season one thread?

I guess if the dickhead OP will edit the title to make it that way
Posted on 5/21/15 at 5:59 pm to Bama and Beer
Well it's only a 10 episode show. At least that's the plan for now.

Nicely done
