Some might not get it, nor care, but I thought it was pretty surreal watching it with them for their first time. It started slow with them, but the excitement when the box turned red was so cool.

Any other experiences?

When those federal agents whipped out those radios at the end?

I was so scared...

watched Jurassic Park (original) with my nephew and step daughters last night. Was their first time seeing it. They clapped at the end. lol

Begging to see the new one now.

ET is a good one, we will watch that tomorrow.

I watched Creature From the Black Lagoon a couple weeks ago with my 3 year old nephew. He loved it. I've never seen him sit that still while watching a movie.

Creature from the Black Lagoon is an incredible film.

ET is also awesome.

I have The Legacy Collection but didn't have it when my nephews and nieces were young. Not sure of their interest in it now since they're in the mid to late 'teens.

I re-watched ET by myself this week and really enjoyed it. Would be a good one to watch with children for sure.

The Princess Bride might be a good one to watch with kids.

When I was a little kid I loved The Incredible Journey (1963). Not sure if kids today would like it.

I recently watched Jurassic Park with my son, and it was the first time he saw it.

He loved it and it was cool to see his excitement over some scenes.

My son enjoyed it. Then, when I told him that the cute girl that Elliott kissed in class grew up to pose nude for Playboy, he high-fived me and said, "Best movie ever."

Then we did some shots and went in the back yard to shoot cans.

I was 11 when E.T. came out, and saw it in theaters 8 times. That's still the most times I've seen a movie in theaters to this day. One of my all time top 10. I'm going to get some Reece's Pieces now....

If he liked Creature From the Black Lagoon he might like this... 7 Faces of Dr. Lao

One of my favorite movies as a kid.
