I watched Roadhouse on HBOGO last night and this was the first time I've watched it unedited in probably 10 years. I definitely forgot how many different breasts, bare bottoms, and overall curse words were in this movie. It got me thinking about other movies that regularly play on TV that are still watchable, although its edited a good bit.

What are some other movies that fall into this category where they edit a lot of things out, but still play it on TV regularly?

Oh, and did I enjoy the movie?

All of the following get shown on basic cable and are O.K. but are no where near as good as the R version:

Godfather I & II, Blazing Saddles, Stripes, Animal House, Platoon, T2, Die Hards, The Road Warriors, Lethal Weapons, Fast times at Ridgemont High, Rain Man, American History X, Glory, Patton, A Fish Called Wanda, Bull Durham, Caddy Shack, etc.

ETA: 48 Hours, Trading Places, Beverly Hills Cops, Interview With a Vampire, Ledgends of the Fall, Fight Club, Any Tarantino movie, No Country for Old Men, Total Recall(third tit), Bond Movies

You sir have no taste or flavor for the magic that was the late 80's early 90's non-Dirty Dancing Swayze film.

Any Tarantino movie
I don't see this working. Maybe the kill bills and Basterds. Other than that I don't think it'd go over well.

You are right. They don't show Reservoir Dogs on basic cable. They do show the kill bills and pulp fiction all the time.

He didn't ask which ones go over well. He asked which ones they show.

I prefaced all of my answers with:

That's why this new Fearnet channel is so worthless. Horror movies don't work edited and with commercial breaks.
